A specialist Health and Social Care provider is seeking a Male Support Worker in Winterton. The role involves supporting a male with Autism and Moderate Learning Disabilities, ensuring daily engagement and independence while providing tailored support. Gray Healthcare are recruiting a Male Support Worker within the Winterton area of North Lincolnshire to support a male in his 60's who has a diagnosis of Autism and Moderate Learning Disabilities. The person we support lives independently in their own home, receiving support 24 hours a day on a 1-2-1 basis. They are supported by a Male team on shifts of days, waking nights and sleeps. The person we support likes to access the community at times visiting local towns or cities.
36 hour contract, 3 x 12 hour shifts, 8am to 8pm (alternative weekend cover required).
We provide an initial week of training which is a combination of online training (Company induction, systems, and Medication). Followed by in-person training on PROACT-SCIPr-UK which is a PBS approach to least restrictive practice, this is a therapeutic and proven alternative to restraint dominant approaches. You will then complete the person-centred training, specific to the person that you are supporting. Training continues throughout your time with Gray Healthcare, and we encourage you to develop and grow your career with us.
