Job description

Our client, a world class manufacturer of fabricated metal products and equipment, is looking to add a maintenance technician/Industrial maintenance mechanic to their growing team. This client is located about 30 minutes north of London.

This role is a straight day shift (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday) with availability of overtime as required.

Compensation – $55-60,000 plus benefits and signing bonus.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Requirements/Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing, production, or related field).
  • Knowledge of PLCs, electrical systems, and automated equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to weld, fabricate, and use hand/power tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
