A hospitality management company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to be responsible for the upkeep of hotel facilities, including pool maintenance, light plumbing, and electrical tasks. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Maintain indoor swimming pool equipment and perform water testing.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic lock systems.
  • Conduct maintenance and repair for hotel ice machines and washers.
  • Light plumbing repairs including clogs and faucet fixes.
  • Perform light electrical work like fixing outlets and switches.
  • Attend to guest repair requests promptly.

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMaintenance Technician – HotelLocation: Lancaster, OHPay: $18–20/hour (depending on experience)Bonuses:

  • $500 after 90 days
  • $1,000 after 180 days
  • $2,000 after 1 year
  • $3,000 after 2 years
  • Increases annually by $1,000 until capped at $5,000

Schedule: Full-time, half-day Saturdays, on-call as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Indoor swimming pool maintenance, including water testing and equipment upkeep
  • Electronic lock systems troubleshooting and repair
  • PTAC unit maintenance and repair (hotel room A/C units)
  • Servicing hotel ice machines, washers, and dryers
  • Light plumbing: clogs, faucets, toilet repairs, etc.
  • Light electrical: outlets, switches, basic wiring
  • General hotel facilities upkeep (guest rooms, public spaces)
  • Responding promptly to guest and staff repair requests
  • Keeping maintenance logs and following all safety procedures

Background:

  • Hotel maintenance experience , but apartment or light commercial building maintenance is acceptable
  • Pool chemical knowledge and repair experience required
  • 1–3 years of maintenance experience is ideal
