Join our Wastewater (Sewage) team as a front line Technician Apprentice and play a vital role in keeping our sites and equipment operating safely, reliably, and efficiently. This is your chance to build a long term career with Anglian Water and make a real impact on the environment and our communities.
You’ll split your time between college learning and hands on experience across our operational sites. You’ll support the wastewater recycling process – collecting, treating and cleaning wastewater before returning it safely to our rivers and seas.
This is a practical, outdoor role where no two days are the same. It’s varied, rewarding, and occasionally challenging, but you’ll be part of a supportive team who will help you grow into a skilled technician. Once qualified, you’ll join a 24/7 standby rota because your role is vital.
We are very proud of our apprentices here at Anglian Water. Over 87% of our apprentices are still working here at Anglian after 10 years. Check out our career site to hear more about opportunities and hear from our current apprentices Operational Apprenticeships - Anglian Water Careers.
If you do not currently hold a full UK driving licence, you’ll need to obtain one by the end of year two of the programme, or if this isn’t possible due to your age, within one year of your 17th birthday.

If successful, you may be selected to a site tour/meet the team at a local site to gain an understanding of the role.
