Overview

Job Title: Maintenance Technician and/or Ammonia Refrigeration Technician

We are seeking a maintenance technician or an ammonia refrigeration technician to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration and boiler systems.
• Conduct repairs on equipment to ensure continuous production uptime.
• Perform checks and overhauls of boiler and refrigeration systems.
• Engage in electrical, welding, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Experience as a maintenance technician, particularly with preventive maintenance.
• Proficiency in ammonia refrigeration systems and equipment.
• Strong skills in electrical troubleshooting and repair.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience in hydraulics and repair services.

Work Environment

The work environment includes high noise levels, varied temperatures, slippery floors, moving equipment, and dust. Safety is a priority, requiring appropriate PPE. The position operates on a rotating schedule: 5 on, 4 off, 3 on, 2 off, with calculated overtime and more time off overall. The 2nd shift runs from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM on either Monday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Friday, with rotating weekends.

Pay and Benefits

Pay range: $51,272.00 - $62,628.00 per year.
