A leading industrial company in Warrington is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a permanent role. You will be responsible for ensuring there are no operational issues due to equipment failure and completing various maintenance tasks in both scheduled and reactive settings. The ideal candidate will have an Engineering Apprenticeship and knowledge of automated systems. The role requires working shift patterns and strong communication skills.

Overview

Maintenance Technician – Warrington – Permanent – £35k - £47k + Shift Allowance

MJM Industrial are currently looking for skilled Maintenance Technicians for a permanent role based at Warrington.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on automation or baggage.

Key Role Purpose
  • Ensure there are no operational concerns due to equipment failure
  • Carry out a variety of electrical and mechanical tasks, including system troubleshooting, in both scheduled and reactive maintenance settings.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality completion of all PPM schedules and documentation, including adherence to stock management procedures.
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks in a busy automated airport.
  • Actively participate in H&S and QA procedures to maintain compliance and operational standards.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Assist with project execution and facility management activities.
  • Effectively communicate engineering issues to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proactively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Engineering Apprenticeship, Level 3 NVQ or equivalent experience
  • Eligibility for Airside Pass.
  • Happy to work a mixture of days and nights. 4 on, 4 off, covering both days and nights.
Key Knowledge
  • Functional skills:
  • Knowledge of Automated Systems
  • Knowledge of Airports
  • Safe electrical isolation for mechanical and/or electrical work
  • IT Literate with knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Good Communication
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Proactive and capable of working on your own or within a team.
