Job description

We re recruiting 13 Technicians and Engineers for a global high-tech manufacturer based in South Wales. These roles are part of a major expansion and offer long-term career development.

Whether you re a hands-on technician, ex-Forces, a car mechanic with an engineering qualification, or a more experienced engineer from a cleanroom or regulated environment, we want to hear from you.

This is a cleanroom, modern facility with a strong focus on planned maintenance. You ll be working on PC-based equipment (very little PLC work), supporting strip-downs, rebuilds, calibrations, and fault recovery. The bulk of the work is structured, repeatable, and procedure-driven.

Candidate Profile
  • Formal engineering qualification (C&G, NVQ, HNC, etc.)
  • Ideally, a formal apprenticeship (can be from any background (e.g., car mechanic, military, etc.
  • Electrical or mechanical multi-skilled preferred but not essential
  • Experience with pneumatics or vacuum systems is a bonus

Key Details
  • 12-hour shifts: permanent days (7am 7pm) or nights (7pm 7am)
  • No rotation fixed shift pattern
  • Shift allowance:
    • Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday + alt Saturday: % shift allowance
    • Days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday + alt Saturday: % shift allowance
    • Nights: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday + alt Saturday: % shift allowance
    • Nights: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday + alt Saturday: % shift allowance
