Tasks and Qualifications:
Principal Accountabilities
  • Carry out AMHE equipment servicing in accordance with quality standards and schedules
  • Undertake scheduled repairs following manufacturer recommendations
  • Diagnose and repair Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, PLC, and PC faults
  • Prioritize system faults
  • Comply with Health & Safety legislation
  • Ensure quality of output
  • Accurately record all work
  • Participate in continuous improvement and sales opportunities
  • Maintain product flow
  • Manage on-site spares levels
  • Represent the company professionally and maintain customer relations
  • Adhere to Quality procedures
Knowledge & Experience Required
  • ONC or equivalent in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering (electrical preferred)
  • Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship (preferred)
  • Understanding of technical manuals & drawings
  • Basic control systems & PLC knowledge
  • Experience with conveyor systems
  • PC literacy
  • Understanding of preventive maintenance schedules
Technical Competencies
  • Ability to learn and retain technical information
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Logical fault-finding approach
