Job description

Overview

Engage Talent Partners are working exclusively with our growing client to recruit a Maintenance Technician. The company is based in Peterhead and is a food manufacturer that exports globally and is undergoing an exciting period of site expansion.

Responsibilities

• Carry out both routine and reactive maintenance to all plant, equipment, services and building as required, including fault finding and repairs.
• Assist in maintaining current PPM schedule.
• Assist with developing and implementing line improvements.
• Assist in bespoke projects and installations.
• Become an active member of the Health & Safety team, with a view to constantly furthering site standards.
• Effectively communicate machinery issues & timescales with both Production and Management teams.

Qualifications

• Time-served engineer with a mechanical background.
• Experience in electrical fault finding, mechanical maintenance and repair.
• Ideally qualified to HNC level in an engineering discipline.
