A leading manufacturing company in Bilston is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. You'll perform preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure high machine uptime in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, welding skills, and a mechanical background. Attractive salary of £52,000 offered.

Maintenance Technician — 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights). £52,000. Bilston

Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're recruiting for a highly skilled engineer to join a leading, high-volume production business based in Bilston.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across a wide range of machinery
  • Ensuring maximum machine uptime in a high-volume production environment
  • Welding and fabricating as required
  • Completing accurate maintenance records and data feedback
  • Supporting installation and project work when needed
  • Maintaining the highest levels of Health & Safety and compliance
  • Working flexibly to support business needs, including overtime and shift cover
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience maintaining machinery in a fast-paced production environment
  • Mechanical or multi-skilled engineering background (apprenticeship, City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent work experience)
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics (essential)
  • Welding and fabrication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills
