Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, days based role

Salary: up to 60,000 per annum depending on experience and skills

Position Overview

Are you a Maintenance Manager or Engineering Planner with previous experience working within a manufacturing environment? Join our highly skilled and established engineering team based in Enfield to maximise plant reliability and performance.

Managing the preventive maintenance system, you'll ensure overall equipment efficiency, reducing downtime and damage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning and scheduling of a risk‑based maintenance strategy
  • Planning shutdowns and follow‑on works
  • Ensuring data integrity within the CMMS system (SAP)
  • Ensuring materials for work orders are anticipated and available for scheduled works
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of planned performance maintenance tasks based on KPIs
  • Maintaining service contracts / external supplier relationships and reviewing supplier effectiveness
  • Contractor control – RAMS
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Experience as an Engineering Planner / Maintenance Planner
  • Experience managing contractors and stores in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • IT knowledge – proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP
  • Health & Safety knowledge (e.g. IOSH) and ensuring a safe working environment
  • Communication skills – articulate and able to develop long‑term relationships with key people
  • Desirable: Structured engineering training (Level 3 Apprenticeship)
