Reactive Maintenance Planning Manager
Location :

Coventry(Hybrid working 3 days a week in the office, 2 days from home)

Salary : £55,000 – £60,000 (Basic)

The Resolute group are working in partnership with a Management consultancy focused in delivering transformation projects in the Utilities sector.

Following the award of a new national framework centred on Streetworks planning, software implementation, and end-to-end process improvement, we are expanding the team and recruiting several key roles including an experienced Planning Consultant.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence national-level change, working at the heart of operational improvement and digital transformation.

As a Planning Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in analysing existing operational processes and supporting the rollout of new, streamlined systems and procedures. You’ll work closely with operational teams, schedulers, and senior stakeholders to ensure the transition to new tools and processes is smooth, effective, and aligned with best practice.

We are looking for someone who brings strong Reactive Maintenance Planning experience, who understands the pressures of operational environments and knows how to build efficient master plans that schedulers can execute effectively.

Confident in :
  • Analysing current planning and scheduling processes.
  • Developing a robust master plan and driving efficient planning solutions.
  • Supporting schedulers to improve daily and weekly planning performance.
  • Applying lessons learned to create proactive, scalable, and efficient future processes.
  • Working within fast-moving utilities, engineering, or maintenance-based environments.
Key Responsibilities :
  • Maintain a 12-month forward Maintenance Delivery Plan to support budgeting and the Annual Operating Plan.
  • Work with the operational team in overseeing and understanding the planning and schedule maintenance activities and processes.
  • Issue weekly schedules for programmed maintenance, defect rectification and project work, including a 3-week lookahead.

Based out of Coventry, you will need to be in the office 3 days a week, however as the Framework is National, there will be travel to other sites across England.

Qualifications / Experience :
  • Previous experience in Reactive maintenance, be it Water, Gas, Power or Telecoms.
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Flexible to work in the office or travel to site offices as required.
