Job description

We are looking for a part time Maintenance Person at our Boutique Hotel in Seaview.

The Seaview Hotel is an Island institution. Set in the heart of the picturesque sailing village it has become a destination for travellers desiring friendly, efficient service and great food.

As our Maintenance Person you'll be carrying out minor repairs to the building, including small electrical repairs, painting, wallpapering, window and door repairs, simple plumbing jobs, tiling, and temporary repairs to make items safe plus other tasks to keep the hotel looking it's best.

Hours are flexible, ideally 28 to 32 hours.

Your operational duties will involve handling all guest rooms and publics areas concerns and assisting with a range of general duties. You will also be responsible for Health, Fire and Safety.

The ideal person for this role will have relevant experience within a similar position.

Salary is competitive but dependent on experience. Certificate in a particular trade an advantage.
