JOB: MAINTENANCE MANAGER

We are recruiting a Maintenance Manager for an iconic hotel in Bournemouth.

As a Maintenance Manager, you will need to be organized, confident, proactive, and experienced in property maintenance with attention to detail. The role requires versatility and energy to complete various duties. The main responsibilities are:

• Possess strong plumbing, basic electrics, portable appliance testing, decorating, and general property maintenance skills, with the ability to train others in these areas.
• Understand compliance in hospitality and hotels, including risk assessments. Manage projects and supervise contractors.
• Liaise with the Management Company to adopt best practices for daily management.
• Ensure work by staff or contractors is completed satisfactorily and in compliance with hotel standards, following up on deficiencies.
• Perform timely repairs throughout the hotel or coordinate repairs via third parties if needed.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping maintenance requests.
• Complete reports, returns, and other documentation accurately and on time.
• Be on call as required to maintain hotel services for guests and the business.
