Job summary

A facilities management company in Tetford is seeking a Mobile Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. In this role, you will perform various maintenance tasks across multiple sites, ensuring all repairs and compliance inspections are completed to a high standard. The ideal candidate has proven building maintenance experience, a recognised trade qualification, and a full UK driving licence. Regular overtime is available, and participation in a call-out rota is required.

Overview

Locations: East Anglia
Salary: £32,884.80 + Regular Overtime
Hours: 40/week + Travel (30 mins each way unpaid)

Role: Mobile Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and urgent reactive repairs across multiple sites
  • Deliver high-quality maintenance: plumbing, carpentry, tiling, painting, lamp replacement, plastering, locks, glazing & more
  • Support project works and minor installations as needed
  • Carry out compliance inspections, reactive repairs, minor works & project support
  • Work in pairs to complete tasks efficiently and safely
  • Participate in a 24-hour call-out rota and occasionally work away from home
  • Collaborate with coordinators and management to plan jobs and ensure materials are ready
  • Communicate clearly with clients and adapt to their needs
  • Work at height when required (MEWP/IPAF training provided)
  • Use initiative to overcome challenges and deliver high-quality results
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in building maintenance (retail environment preferred)
  • Flexible approach to working hours
  • Recognised trade qualification

  • Strong communication, initiative and ability to work independently and in a team
  • Willingness to train (IPAF, MEWP, etc.) and adapt to new challenges
