About the Job

Are you an experienced maintenance engineer looking for a new opportunity in a dynamic working environment? You will join a team of skilled engineers to ensure all manufacturing people, processes and equipment receive the highest level of support. Reporting to a Manufacturing Engineering Cell Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring night shift manufacturing teams are supported with hands-on engineering support. The team delivers planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programs, responds to breakdowns, performs repairs and work requests, and contributes to large projects to help Games Workshop continue manufacturing high-quality fantasy miniatures.

Responsibilities
  • Provide maintenance support on equipment including injection moulding machines, CNC machines and conveyor systems.
  • Respond to breakdowns, carry out repairs and implement work requests to minimise downtime.
  • Contribute to PPM programs and collaborate with 3rd party contractors as required.
  • Participate in projects that improve manufacturing processes and equipment reliability.
  • Apply problem‑solving skills to issues with machinery or infrastructure; work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Qualifications
  • Experience delivering maintenance support in a manufacturing environment.
  • Qualified to 18th Edition BS7671 at minimum.
  • Ideally hold inspection and test certification (2391).
  • Comfortable performing and delivering PPM programs and working with 3rd party contractors.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety fundamentals relating to a manufacturing environment.
