Overview

Maintenance Engineer (Nights) – Location: Nottingham. Salary: £46,500 (inc. shift allowance) + great benefits inc. bonus. Shifts: Permanent Nights - Mon - Thurs 10pm to 6am, Fri 8pm to 3am.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a highly skilled engineering team in Nottingham. This is a night shift position where you\'ll play a vital role in keeping manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes
  • Responding quickly to breakdowns, repairs, and work requests
  • Supporting major projects across manufacturing equipment and infrastructure
  • Working with injection moulding machines, CNC machinery, and conveyor systems
  • Applying hands-on knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Ensuring all work meets Health & Safety standards
About You
  • 5+ years\' experience in maintenance engineering within manufacturing
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Electrical qualifications to 18th Edition BS7671 (essential) and Inspection & Testing desirable
  • A proactive approach with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
  • Driving license and own vehicle as you may on occasion need to travel to support another local site (mileage covered)
