Maintenance Engineer (Double Day Shift)

40,000 - 45,000 + Progression + Training + Company Benefits + Overtime

Are you a Maintenance Engineer or similar from a Packaging or Food Manufacturing background looking to join one of the biggest packaging companies in the UK? We are offering a double day shift, a host of company benefits, training including official qualifications and the opportunity to boost your earnings with overtime.

On offer is the opportunity to join one of the biggest food packaging companies in the UK who work with big clients such as Nestle and Rowntrees. They have been established for over 30 years and are continuing to grow as a company.

This role will involve maintenance of the factories machinery, specifically equipment related to food packaging such as multi headed weighers and baggers. You will be assisting with PPM schedules, reacting to breakdowns and generally keeping the factory in great condition. This is an alternating shift of 6AM to 2PM and 2PM to 10PM, Monday to Friday with overtime paid at 1.5x.

This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer or similar with a background in Packaging or Food Manufacturing or similar looking for a day-based shift-pattern for an industry leading company who can supply a host of company benefits, progression within the company, training and overtime opportunities.

The Role

• Carrying out pre-planned maintenance schedule
• Reacting to machine breakdowns
• Report any issues to the days-based team
• Monday to Friday - alternating shift - 6-2PM / 2-10PM
