Job description
Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a dynamic Calibration & Maintenance Team within a high-tech manufacturing environment. This role involves both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fault diagnosis on a range of process and environmental equipment, including vibration shakers, environmental chambers, and ESD systems.

Responsibilities
  • Perform fault finding and repairs down to component level using technical documentation.
  • Support operators with PPM tasks and ensure minimal equipment downtime.
  • Maintain and update spares packages and manage external maintenance contracts.
  • Work autonomously across varied and challenging tasks.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • HNC or higher in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Strong fault-finding skills and hands-on experience with electronic manufacturing machinery.
  • Familiarity with CCA (Circuit Card Assembly) processes is desirable.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, manuals, and circuit diagrams.
  • Comfortable with physical tasks (e.g. accessing equipment in confined spaces).
Desirable
  • Experience in Defence/Aerospace sectors.
  • Knowledge of SAP systems.
