Overview

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias Preferred)  |  Location: Evesham  |  Salary: £42,864.15 per annum  |  Shift Pattern: 4-On / 4-Off – 12-Hour Days (6am–6pm)

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a forward-thinking and well-organised engineering team within a high-volume production environment.

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the general upkeep of the building and site, as well as ensuring that all production machinery and plant equipment are operating efficiently and reliably. Most of the work is preventative, with very few breakdowns, making this a stable and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct planned maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of site equipment.
  • Support production teams with timely completion of projects and upgrade works.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain site electrical installations and services as directed.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and legal requirements.
  • Contribute to the upkeep and appearance of the building and site.
  • Gain working knowledge of all maintenance systems and procedures.
Skills & Experience Required
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent with at least 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced, reactive environment.
  • Electrical bias preferred; PLC experience beneficial.
  • Experience with refrigeration plant and control systems is advantageous.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
  • Industry experience in high-volume or food production environments is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a preventative maintenance-focused setting.
