About the client

ATA are supporting a multisite manufacturing group at their well-established site in the Nottinghamshire region. The group has a 35% foothold within their market, is a major industry player, and has been growing since their inception in the 60s. They turnover north of £300 million and employ over 2000 staff across the country. Their portfolio of manufactured goods is well recognised in the UK construction market. This site is an important part of the company and produces just under 100 million units each year, making it one of the more profitable sites within the group. They are looking for a maintenance engineer with an electrical bias to join their team.

About the role

This is a real engineering role and is hands on. It will involve maintenance and is focused on:

  • PPM & Reactive maintenance on automated plant machinery
  • Fault finding and fault rectification
  • Installation and project work
  • Maintenance on equipment including conveyors, robotics, packaging lines, palletisers, mixing equipment, kilns, plus specialist equipment in a heavy industrial and automated environment
About you

To be considered for this maintenance engineer position you should be/have the following:

  • Experience working as a maintenance engineer within a factory environment
  • Experience with electrical maintenance and ability to swap out electrical components
  • Experience with maintenance in control panels
  • Electrical fault-finding to conclusion
  • Recognised NVQ engineering qualification (or equivalent)
