Lead Engineer - Food Manufacturing. We're seeking a skilled Lead Engineer to oversee engineering operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimising production machinery, driving efficiency improvements, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards. This is a hands-on role in a critical production environment, offering the chance to make a real impact on operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance, servicing, and inspections of production and service plant equipment.
• Support new installations, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Deliver reactive and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Ensure strict compliance with GMP and safety standards.

About You

• Electrically qualified (apprenticeship, ONC, City & Guilds, or 17th/18th Edition).
• Multi-skilled with strong problem-solving ability.
• Background in food manufacturing preferred, but open to other sectors.
• Confident communicator with strong teamwork skills.
