Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for a Slitting machine operator to join our card manufacturing site, Printcraft, in Baildon. Printcraft manufactures the UK\'s greetings cards, wrap and POS for stores. It is a forward-thinking business with state of the art equipment operating a large site 24/7; we produce around ¼ billion items per annum.

This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (regular days).

Working to production time lines the Slitting machine operator is responsible for the slitting of all products that are required for the manufacturing process. After training, you’ll carry out basic maintenance on this machine so an intermediate technical knowledge is required. You’ll also look after the stock control of raw material and submitting purchase requisitions as required. It’ll be essential to possess a good appreciation of Maths to ensure accurate operation of slitting machine with accuracy.

To deliver and prioritise workload successfully you will successfully build relationships and work closely with other key members of the wider team such as Production Planners, Finishing Machine Operators and Managers.
