Overview

Machine Operator – Stratford-upon-Avon

We are recruiting for a Machine Operator to join our clients manufacturing team in Stratford-upon-Avon. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a busy production environment with consistent hours and long-term prospects.

  • Location: Stratford-upon-Avon - CV37
  • Contract: Permanent, full-time
Pay & Hours
  • £13.08 per hour
  • Monday to Friday – 7:00am to 5:00pm
  • Overtime opportunities available
Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production.
  • Carry out basic machine setup, adjustments, and quality checks.
  • Inspect finished parts against specifications, maintaining high standards.
  • Follow all health & safety procedures and keep the work area organised.
  • Report any issues and support continuous improvement activities.
Summary of Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manual inspection of components using hand measuring equipment.
  • Loading machines, monitoring material usage, and checking production output.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and process controls.
  • Using precision tools (Vernier, Micrometer, Magnifying Glass) to measure and record data accurately.
  • Working within a quality-controlled ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 manufacturing environment.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in manual machine operation within a traditional industrial facility (lathes and associated equipment preferred).
  • Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
  • Flexible approach with the ability to follow company procedures, health & safety, and quality protocols.
  • Training can be provided for candidates with aligned machining skills.
