Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience operating Die Cutting, Folding & Gluing, Laminating, and Printing equipment.
• Ability to carry out adjustments and optimize machine speed.
• Knowledge of BRC hygiene requirements.

Job description

We're looking for a skilled Machine Operator to join our production team. This role involves operating and maintaining machinery such as Die Cutting, Folding & Gluing, Laminating, and Printing equipment.

Shifts

• Weekly rotating pattern
• Week 1: 6am-2pm (Mon-Fri) @ £13.32 / hr
• Week 2: 2pm-11pm (Mon-Thu), 2pm-6pm (Fri) @ £15.98 / hr

Training Hours

8am-5.15pm (Mon-Thu), 8am-5pm (Fri)

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production machines to produce high-quality products.
• Carry out adjustments, tooling changes, and speed optimisation to meet targets.
• Inspect materials, identify defects, and maintain product quality standards.
• Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance in line with BRC hygiene requirements.
• Report equipment issues, tooling damage, or required upgrades to the Team Leader and engineering team.
• Ensure materials and equipment are stocked and ready for production.
