Are you a hands-on Machine Operator with a mechanical background looking for your next opportunity? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, operating machinery, and being part of a supportive team? If so, we want to hear from you!


We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Corby. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with either mechanical experience or qualifications to develop their career through extensive training and support, working on backshift as part of a growing and forward-thinking team.


Location: Corby
Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-10:00pm
Pay: £16.20 per hour (40 hours per week - all hours paid)


Duties:



  • Operating 2-3 machines as part of a small team

  • Loading machinery with metal reels

  • Performing basic quality checks on finished products

  • Unloading machines and preparing products for dispatch

  • Supporting the machine setter and wider team with smooth production flow

  • Ensuring a clean and safe working environment


The ideal candidate must:



  • Have a mechanical background - either through hands-on experience or a relevant qualification

  • Be comfortable operating machinery in a manufacturing environment

  • Be reliable, process-driven, and have a strong work ethic

  • Be physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks

  • Be open to learning and developing new skills
