Overview

Job Title: Production Operative. Our client, based on the Eccles/ Salford Quays boundary, is looking to recruit an experienced Production Operative. They offer a first class working environment and the opportunity to work in the Manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of production machinery and assembly of customer products.
• Follow Health/Safety procedures and instructions; ideally from a manufacturing background.
• Mixing Powders
• Pressing Powders
• Operation of Sintering Furnaces and Ovens
• Brass and Paint Spraying
• Product Testing and Recording
• Assembly of Components and Discs to Finished Products
• Some training will be provided as required

Hours & Salary

• Hourly rate: £15.05 per hour. Overtime paid at time & half.
• Basic 34.5 hours per week.
• Hours of Work: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 07:00 – 19:00 (12 hour shifts).

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a production/manufacturing role.
• Experience with standard operating procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Health/Safety aware and able to conform to all H/S Procedures; capable of following instructions.
