Overview

Join Our Team as a Machine Operator! Are you seeking a fantastic opportunity to join a large electrical manufacturing organisation with a vibrant culture and a supportive working environment? Our client, Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, is urgently seeking Machine Operators to join their team in Eastfield.

Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate and monitor machines.
  • Follow technical drawings and assembly instructions accurately.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure every product meets our high standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient production flow and meet production targets.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work space.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Strictly apply standardised processes in manufacturing across various tasks, including basic maintenance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the facility.
  • Ensure the quality of operations by adhering to established standards.
  • Identify and communicate any risks related to health, safety, quality, and environmental issues to the Team Leader.
  • Report all incidents and near misses, while applying the escalation process for any deviations in safety, quality, or performance.
  • Process orders accurately and promptly.
  • Develop knowledge of our products and systems.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent software.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately, meeting deadlines consistently.
  • A practical aptitude for science or engineering skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • High flexibility and dependability.
  • A motivated mindset, eagerness to learn, and a good attendance record.
