Machine Operative

Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting a skilled Machine Operative to join our client's production team on a full‑time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Set, start, and adjust machinery to meet production and quality specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and inspect finished products to ensure consistency and quality.
• Carry out routine cleaning, basic fault‑finding, and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Load raw materials and unload finished products safely and efficiently.
• Accurately complete production records and report any issues or performance concerns.
• Adhere strictly to all health & safety regulations and company procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Machine Operative / Machine Setter within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical ability and mechanical awareness.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team with good communication and problem‑solving skills.
• A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and progress within the business.

Package & Hours

• Salary: £26,000 - £27,000 per annum + night shift allowance.
• Hours: Three‑shift pattern (Days, Afters, Nights), Monday to Friday.
• Contract: Full‑time, permanent.
