An established industry player is seeking a dedicated M&E Technician with mechanical bias to join their dynamic team at a prominent healthcare facility. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to ensure the efficiency and safety of critical mechanical systems. Equans is looking for an M&E Technician (Mechanical bias) to join our team at North Middlesex University Hospital (NMUH) on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary banding, dependent upon qualifications and experience and benefits package. Ideally we require candidates that are Level 3 qualified.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of maintenance tasks, including both Authorised Person (AP) and Competent Person (CP) duties, ensuring that all mechanical systems within the healthcare environment are operating safely and efficiently.
Carry out routine mechanical PPM on HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, and other building services equipment
Ensure that all mechanical systems comply with regulatory standards and meet healthcare requirements
Perform corrective maintenance and emergency repairs on mechanical systems and equipment as required
Respond quickly to breakdowns, minimizing downtime and ensuring the smooth operation of vital healthcare facilities

Relevant mechanical engineering qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)
Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role, ideally within a healthcare or critical infrastructure environment
Valid Driving License (Desirable)
