Job Title: M&E Lead Engineer

Location: Holborn

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7am - 4pm

Salary: £52,000

About the Role

I am seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to join my client's team, to be based at a high end commercial office in Holborn. In this role, you will be the lead engineer overseeing and motivating maintenance tasks across this large office building. You will spend a mixture of your day performing hands‑on PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance tasks on M&E & building systems, and escorting contractors where necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform your personal PPM and reactive maintenance tasks when required, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Motivate engineering team and manage contractors.
  • Monitor and track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds contract requirements.
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met, taking proactive measures to address any issues.
  • Manage and enforce RAMs (Risk Assessment Method Statements) and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure maintenance tasks are performed to the highest standards and within compliance guidelines.
