Job summary

A regional health board in Aberdeen is searching for a Maintenance Craftsperson specializing in Electrical to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing planned and reactive maintenance across various facilities. Applicants should have completed an apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering and possess experience in HVAC systems and electrical testing. A driving license is also required. NHS GRAMPIAN

MAINTENANCE CRAFTSPERSON (ELECTRICAL)

Band 5 + RRP

An opportunity has arisen for Maintenance Electricians to join the team based on the Foresterhill Site in Aberdeen (may also be required to undertake duties across other areas of NHS Grampians estate).

The post holder will be required to carry out planned and Reactive maintenance on a wide range of plant and equipment.

Applicants must have completed a recognised apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering and have experience as a Maintenance Electrician working on HVAC, motor control circuits, motors, fans, control panels, distribution systems, lighting, catering equipment and portable electrical appliances.

Applicants should be experienced in the use of a variety of electrical test equipment such as insulation resistance testers, multimeters etc.

An Electrical Gold Card would be beneficial, though applicants without this will be considered.

There will be a requirement to participate in a 24 hour on call rota.

Applicants must be able to work as part of a team, and be able to work on their own.

Applicants must possess a current full driving licence.
