Logistics Supervisor

Location: Norfolk, Swaffham

Duration: 2 years

Contract Position

Job profile

Reporting to the General Site Manager and Site Manager, you will control, coordinate and take custody of materials from shipment to site and coordinate site storage, including logistics for the use of permanent materials/plant in line with programme requirements. Components range from mechanical and electrical instrumentation for our Converter Station, and will include compiling all necessary quality documentation FAT testing and understanding dimensions and weight of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Organize and control the Supply Chain / Logistics activities in the area of responsibility (e.g. warehouse) with the objective of achieving cost benefits, delivery reliability and customer satisfaction through the best possible logistics services (flow of material) as well as optimizing the processes and the use of resources.
• Coordinate with suppliers, conduct quality checks, plan logistics activities and ensure timely material delivery to site.
• Compile and maintain quality documentation such as FAT testing and equipment dimension and weight records.
• Collaborate with the General Site Manager and Site Manager to align logistics operations with programme requirements.
