Job Description

Gleeson is seeking a Project professional to join a Global Business. This role is based in the Oxfordshire area and calls for an experienced Project Manager to develop and design solutions to rectify fleet and internal operations.

Job Title: Project Manager

Locations : Oxfordshire

Package: £400 -450 Per Day

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily courier operations, ensuring secure deliveries meet client requirements (Police, MOD, MOJ, Home Office, etc.).

Manage driver performance, route planning, and communication to avoid missed delivery slots.

Act as the primary point of contact between operations, drivers, and leadership resolving communication breakdowns and escalating issues where needed.

Lead operational improvement projects, implementing processes and systems to reduce service failures and enhance efficiency.

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and security standards, passing necessary security checks.

Produce operational reports, highlighting risks, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

Build strong working relationships with internal teams, drivers, and external stakeholders.

Key Requirements

Proven experience in logistics, courier, or secure transport operations.

Strong background in project/operations management with hands-on delivery.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to identify operational issues and implement practical, structured solutions.

Flexible and proactive, with the ability to work in a fast-moving, high-security environment.

Ability to pass baseline security checks (BPSS).
