Qualifications

  • Experience managing logistics budgets and negotiating with export packing & freight suppliers/carriers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end logistics, including inbound deliveries, off-site storage, global dispatch, shipment and delivery.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure timely delivery of equipment and spare parts worldwide.
  • Lead, coach and develop the logistics team, maintain accurate records, report to management.

This newly created role will play a vital part in ensuring that products are delivered to customers worldwide in a timely and cost-effective manner.

  • Manage end-to-end logistics, including inbound deliveries, off-site storage, global dispatch, shipment and delivery
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure timely delivery of equipment and spare parts worldwide
  • Oversee budgets, documentation and compliance, covering freight, packing, warehousing, customs, VAT and health & safety regulations
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, packing companies and logistics providers to ensure smooth, compliant international shipments
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align logistics with production timelines, driving continuous improvement and reducing lead times
  • Lead, coach and develop the logistics team, maintain accurate records, report to management and oversee company vehicle servicing

Hours: 8am – 4:15pm Monday – Friday

Required skills & experience:

  • Proven experience in a logistics management role within an engineering or manufacturing environment (essential)

  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
  • Previous experience leading a team
