About the Role

We currently have an exciting opening for an experienced Logistics professional to join our team in Manchester. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of STRABAG UK.

Key Responsibilities

• In conjunction with the consents team, ensure that Construction Traffic Management Plans are fullydeveloped and maintained.
• Develop construction logistics plans tailored to the project requirements.
• Ensuring Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) are delivered in accordance with the programme, identifying strategies to improve schedule and cost performance.
• Monitor logistics compliance, process and procedure adherence across internal teams and the supply chain.
• Conduct risk assessments and implementation of mitigation measuresli>
• Support the implementation and operation of park and ride facilities.
• Proactive supply chain engagement to align expectations and mitigate risks.
• Preparation of periodic reports on logistics measurements for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage logistics gate procedures and onsite logistics including store management.
• Ensure compliance with import and export procedures.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in logistics, preferably in large scale construction or tunnelling projects.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capability, with experience in supervising teams.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong IT literacy, confident with logistics management systems.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental standards relevant to construction logistics planning.
• CSCS.
• First aid at work.
• SSSTS.
• CILT membership.
• CLOCS trained.
• Full UK driving licence.
