Job description

This role is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic company in a very exciting market. We are looking for a Logistics Manager/Carrier Performance Manager with a track record of successful courier management to own our 3PL (3rd party logistics) relationships, driving performance and customer experience. Together with our partners you will constantly look for opportunities to improve, innovate and be more efficient. What You Will Be Doing:

Here at HelloFresh we work with a few different couriers, and you will be responsible for managing a mix of core, small and niche suppliers who deliver our boxes out to the customer. This role will strive to improve the relationships and deliveries made by the suppliers with a medium term (6-12 months) view, while supporting the team leaders that report into you to do the same with a short term (0-6 month) view. You will do this by:

• Owning relationships with our final mile 3PL’s with a focus on improving performance and overall customer experience
• Developing initiatives to drive down delivery errors with a strong focus on using data to drive actions
• Leading and motivating a team of Logistics leads, coordinators and execs, leading by example at all times and exemplifying HelloFresh values
• Mitigating delivery risks (eg snow) to ensure minimal disruption to service
• Reducing delivery costs through supplier negotiations and other creative initiatives
• Evaluating customer feedback to identify key opportunity areas and setting mid / long term initiatives to improve customer experience
• Developing world class courier reporting through the use of our BI tools
• Supporting the Head of 3PL Logistics with long term (12 month +) strategy planning

Who You Are:

• Experience within people management, being able to motivate and lead a team
• A background within the logistics industry, ideally within retail or couriers.
• Proven experience in improving and developing the customer experience at final mile
• Experience managing and improving delivery errors, risks and negotiating delivery costs.

Work Schedule: Hybrid working - 50/50 remote working and flexible start/finish times
