JOB PURPOSE

To manage, control and lead on the movement and storage of manpower to ensure materials and equipment for the Scaffolding Division are best utilised and made available at the desired location for the desired date. Responsible for the overall logistics / asset and labour management including but not exclusive to, organising and monitoring storage and distribution of goods to enhance business development, sustainability and customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and review the full cycle of materials and equipment within the depot’s and yards / satellite yards including the location, status and condition of materials and equipment ensuring they are controlled, and Company processes / procedures are followed.
  • Ensure the appropriate procedures are in place and followed in terms of reporting systems and actions in order to maximise the protection of on‑site materials and equipment and site balances, reporting on any discrepancies where necessary.
  • Manage all aspects of asset reporting and record keeping, ensuring high levels of accuracy.
  • Prepare and review asset and transport reports.
  • Prepare for upcoming contract requirements including labour and materials to ensure all deliverables are at the required location for Day One mobilisation.
  • Identify opportunities to help reduce transport costs and material storage including the identification of the overlap of new phases and dismantles.
  • Ensure that under‑utilisation of stock and transport is prevented where ever possible.
  • Conduct regular (minimum quarterly) meetings with Regional Managers to discuss progress, findings and suggestive actions.
  • Responsible for O‑Licence Compliance, ensuring that laws relating to the driving and operation of vehicles used under the licence are observed.
  • Effectively lead and manage the team ensuring performance is managed where necessary, assisting with personal development achievement and ensuring standards of discipline and personal conduct meet the Company’s expectations.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field is required.
  • Relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management, often with a focus on inventory control and transportation management.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and analytical skills to assess logistics processes and implement improvements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with suppliers, clients and team members effectively.
  • Ability to manage tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
