Our client is a family business in a period of transition and requiring additional support across the Logistics and Operations team. The role requires an individual that can start immediately and is available to commit to a 6-month FTC with a strong chance of extension.

In the role of Logistics Controller, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage and schedule inbound deliveries.

  • Manage deliveries to end customers, directly or through our third party delivery service.
  • Maintain communication with all involved including retailers, customers, warehouse and office staff.
  • Update and maintain the required documentation and reporting requirements.
  • Schedule vehicle servicing and ensure compliance with transportation regulations.
  • Maintain a healthy and safe working environment.

The role requires a proactive and organised person to manage the inbound and outbound deliveries. Your strong communication skills and attention to detail are key to facilitating this process. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and will be comfortable with ERP systems; a knowledge of Microsoft Navision would be useful but not essential. You will join a great team with a supportive and flexible approach and will receive a competitive salary.
