• Plan in- or outbound transport taking into account transport regulation.
• Combine orders to achieve efficient transportation.
• Manage unforeseen incidents in the transportation planning process.
• Deal with sales team and customers to take sales orders via phone and email.
• Liaise with production sites to check availability of products.
• Work with hauliers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Raise purchase orders to suppliers where applicable.
• Raise invoices to customers and process supplier invoices.
• Ensure products are delivered on time and manage ad-hoc projects.

About the role

Plan the efficient execution of client orders including combining orders.

Responsibilities

• Plan in- or outbound transport taking into account transport regulation.
• Combine orders to achieve efficient transportation.
• Manage unforeseen incidents in the transportation planning process.
• Deal with sales team and customers to take sales orders via phone and email.
• Liaise with production sites both Brenntag owned and third party to check availability of products.
• Work with hauliers to ensure deliveries are on schedule and communicate delays or issues back to customers.
• Raise purchase orders to suppliers where applicable.
• Raise invoices to customers.
• Process supplier invoices.
• Ensure that the right product is delivered on time, every time.
• Ad-hoc projects set by Logistics Manager.
