Overview

Part of the VolkerWessels UK Group, VolkerStevin is an industry-leading civil engineering business, providing complex and innovative engineering solutions across a wide range of sectors including maritime, flood risk management, defence, energy, water and regeneration. Collaborating with, and drawing on the specialist skills of the group's business units we deliver a truly integrated, multidisciplinary service.

VolkerStevin are hiring and looking for an experienced Logistics administrator to join our team on our project at Sizewell C. You will be based at our Woodbridge office with a site visit to Sizewell C once a week.

Responsibilities

• Work under pressure/fast pace
• Data fatigue management - Msite
• Security Vetting
• Chasing supplier chain - booked in & chased / when ordering plant etc - checking everything is in place.
• Accommodation for rig team (cover)
• Transportation
• Go to person for site requirements
• Waste management plan data inputting
• Visiting sizewell team once a week (not woodbridge and understanding site logistics). In woodbridge the rest of the week
• Support VTS/VGE/VMS
• Attending weekly ops meeting for requirements working across internal businesses

About you

• Site/Construction Company experience (not essential)
• Excellent communication skills including written English and ability to compile own letters.
• Excellent IT skills including; Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, E-Mail and Internet
• Excellent telephone manner
• Ability to use initiative
• Discretion and confidentiality
• Time management skills
• Experience in the Procure to Pay Process
