Job summary

A local veterinary practice in Swindon is looking for a locum RVN to join their team while recruiting for a permanent position. As an RVN, you will handle surgical and consulting duties with the flexibility to define your role, ideally incorporating your special interests. The practice boasts an open culture and strong management support, catering to the well-being of both staff and animals. A passionate, organized individual with client care experience will be an ideal fit.

  • Several years of experience in practice is expected.

Job description

Lovely independent practice in Swindon are looking for a locum for a few weeks / months while they recruit a new perm RVN:

  • Operating from 3 independent sites
  • Facilities at main clinic allow cases to be dealt with in house with little need for referral
  • Supportive efficient management teams at each clinic
  • 38 staff members with nursing team of 16
  • Teaching practice offering good caring support
  • Open culture with emphasis on CPD
JOB ROLE
  • Surgical and consulting RVN
  • Able to cope with most surgical cases and schedule 3
  • Freedom to define your own position within the clinic ideally with a special interest.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Quality of experience more important than quantity but would expect suitable candidate to have several years experience in practice.
  • Experienced client care skills
  • Ability to coach others in the nursing team [clinical coach option]
