A leading legal recruitment agency is seeking a Locum Litigation Lawyer to work remotely for a local authority in Wales. The role involves managing a varied caseload and providing legal advice on various topics. Candidates must be qualified lawyers with recent experience in local government and expertise in civil litigation and other areas of law. An hourly rate of up to £55 is offered based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a Qualified Lawyer with recent local government experience.
• Experience in at least two areas from civil litigation, regulatory law, employment law, housing law, licensing law, criminal law, and planning law.
• Knowledge of Welsh legislation is desirable but not essential.

Locum Litigation Lawyer – Remote Working – £60 Umbrella – Wales

Venn Group’s specialist Public Sector Legal team is working with a Local Authorityin Wales which is seeking to appoint a talentedLocum Litigation Lawyerto join its team for an initial term of 3months, subject to likely extension thereafter.

The successful candidate will be aQualified Lawyer(Solicitors, Barristers and highly experienced CILEX professionals) withrecent local government experience in at least two of the following areas: civil litigation, regulatory law, employment law, housing law, licensing law, criminal law and planning law. Knowledge of Welsh legislation and/or experience gained in a Welsh authority is desirable but not essential.

This position will involve managing a varied caseload, providing legal advice on a range of topics and assisting other lawyers and legal assistants within the team.

An hourly rate of up to£55 per hour Umbrellais offered for this position dependent on experience.Fully remote workingis available for the duration of the role.
