Friendly Central London 14,000 patient GP Training Practice looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and forward-thinking up to 8 sessions, per week including Monday & Friday.
Modern, purpose-built premises with full complement of administrative and clinical staff, including 7 GPs, 1 register, 2 Nurses ,HCA, Pharmacists, Social Prescriber and Health Coach.
We deliver a high standard of clinical care for our patients focusing on proactive personalised care, disease prevention and patient education. We are an active member of the Brompton Primary Care Network.

Clinical responsibilities
In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make him/herself available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions, dealing with queries, referring patients as appropriate, paperwork and correspondence.
Making professional decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation.
Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
Prescribing in accordance with the practice prescribing formulary (or generically) whenever this is clinically appropriate.
In general the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.

We have 2 partners, 7 GPs, 1 register, Nursing Team and a clerical team of 12. We have an emphasis on patient care and as a training practice, we support the professional development of our staff.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintainaccurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy andguidance.
Workas a team member with all relevant providers of primary and community careservices.
Genericprescribing adhering to local and national guidelines.
Processingof administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescriptionrequests and other associated administrative tasks
Workin accordance with practice policies and procedures andassist in their development.
Contribution to QOF and any local or direct enhanced services which the Practice has signed up for.
