A local authority agency is seeking a qualified Locum Legal Assistant for a hybrid role in the South West. The candidate will provide vital legal assistance, manage case files, and ensure efficient documentation practices within a busy legal department. This full-time position, initially for 6 months with a competitive hourly rate of £25-£30, requires previous experience within a local authority. The role includes regular office attendance to facilitate case progress.
Locum Legal Assistant (Education) – South West – Hybrid Working – 6 Months + - £25-£30 Umbrella
Venn Group’s specialist Legal team is recruiting for a Legal Assistant to join a reputable local authority in the South West on an interim basis, sitting within the busy Social Care & Education teams. This is a full time, hybrid working position for an initial term of 6 months, subject to potential extension thereafter. It will involve providing legal assistance to and supporting the Education Lawyers on a variety of matters. Experience gained within a local authority is required for this role.
Candidates will be expected to attend the office on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
An hourly umbrella rate of £25-£30 depending on experience is offered for this position.
