An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 6-month locum consultant position within the kidney cancer service at the Royal Free Hospital.
The successful candidate will undertake open, laparoscopic and robotic upper urinary tract surgery for all aspects of benign and cancer diseases. The Royal Free is also one of the few centres to perform in addition to routine upper tract robotic surgery, robotic caval thrombectomy, renal transplant and ureterolysis. The appointee will participate in the upper‑tract consultant on‑call rota.
You will be joining an innovative department with excellent opportunities for both clinical/surgical experience, research and for continuing education.
The Specialist Centre for Kidney Cancer is located at the Royal Free Hospital and is also associated with University College London Partners (UCL Partners) with a good infrastructure for research and has multiple links to leading research departments, including the Sanger and the Crick Institute.
