About the Post

Consultant Radiologist with a sub‑speciality interest in neuroradiology for a one‑year fixed term contract with Barts Health NHS Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support, develop and enhance general and specialised imaging services at Barts Health NHS Trust.
  • Contribute to the high‑quality consultant‑led diagnostic radiology service at Newham University Hospital.
  • Participate in the on‑call service.
  • Support other imaging developments within the Trust and within Northeast London (NEL) Imaging Board.
  • Provide evidence‑based care for all patients.
  • Always adhere to appropriate clinical and quality standards.
  • Liaise effectively and on a timely basis with hospital colleagues, General Practitioners, community services and relevant healthcare agencies.
  • Maintain and promote teamwork and multi‑disciplinary work.
  • Participate in the management of the Department and liaise closely with the Clinical Director and Clinical leads.
