Locum Consultant in Hand & Wrist Surgery

Applications are invited for a fixed term locum post until April 2026 to work in the Hand and Wrist Surgery team. The post is open to a suitably trained Orthopaedic or Plastic Surgeon. A regular on-call commitment will compose part of the job plan.

The post holder will be responsible for covering hand trauma and elective commitments as detailed in the job plan. They will take part in departmental teaching, training, governance and performance.

Job responsibilities

Person Specification

• FRCS (Tr & Orth) / FRCS (Plast) or equivalent
• Evidence of broad-based training Sub-specialty training to fellowship level Evidence of continuing medical education

• Experience in complex / tertiary hand and wrist surgery
