We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Locum Consultant Geriatrician to join our innovative and expanding Care of Older People (COOP) team at Yeovil District Hospital. This is a fixed‑time post within a dynamic, forward‑thinking department that values individuality and supports professional growth. You will provide specialist inpatient and outpatient care for older patients, contribute to acute and frailty services including Front Door Frailty, and help shape services such as Ortho‑Geriatrics, Osteoporosis, Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders, Dementia and Delirium. Alongside clinical work you will engage in clinical governance, audit, quality improvement and teaching, and play a key role in mentoring and supervising junior doctors and multidisciplinary teams.
