As the Local Information Security Officer (LISO), you will act as the regional lead for cyber security across our North West Europe (NWE) operations. Reporting to the global CISO and the NWE Head of IT, you will ensure that our business units apply Exolum's cyber security policies, processes, and best practices effectively and consistently. You will play a key role in improving cyber resilience across IT and OT environments, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards, supporting audits, and serving as the local cyber security expert. This is a highly collaborative role, working with internal teams, third-party providers, regulators, and government bodies to protect Exolum's information assets and maintain the highest security standards.
You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant technology or cyber security field, or you will bring demonstrable experience in all aspects of cyber security. You will have at least 3 years' experience applying and managing cyber security principles within complex technology environments, particularly within Microsoft ecosystems.
You will bring strong knowledge of information security standards (ISO27001, NIST, CAF, etc.), risk management, secure design principles and, ideally, experience with ICS/SCADA systems. Excellent communication skills, the ability to influence others, and a proactive, collaborative mindset are essential.
